Giant Metal Robot Transformer Chicken. What the!? There's a sign next to it that says "BIRD POTS"... Mystifying. The Transformer Robot Chicken appears to be made of metal, but not from "bird pots" - whatever that is. Also, there seems to a cryptic "artWurks" sign further back. Investigation is in order.

Ok, I'm back. My research on the intertubes has found the following information (from here): the metal chicken is mostly made up of old Volkswagen bumpers and was created by artist Larry Goodwin. The building behind the chicken is "artWurks', where you can get all sorts of folk art, and maybe metal robot chicken eggs. All this is located on the side of Route 231, near Brundidge, Alabama.

Ah, so now the truth is revealed. But one question still remains: why did the Giant Metal Transformer Chicken consume only Volkswagens? And what the heck is a "Bird Pot" anyway? (oops, that's two questions)
