Interesting Pic of the Day™: Kurtz's Compound or Disney's Animal Kingdom?
It's getting close to vacation time, so how about a photo from somewhere that looks like it's either part of Kurtz's compound in Cambodia (Apocalypse Now) or maybe Disney-world's Animal Kingdom? ... Disney, you say? Ok, here it is!

Roadside Pic of the Day™: Chinese Fu Lion, It's What You Want to Guard Your Buffet
People know you're not messing around when you have a pair of these Chinese Foo (or "Fu") lions guarding your front door. According to Wikipedia, these guardian lions are always created in pairs: a male and a female. How to tell them apart? The male lion has some sort of ball depicted under a paw while the female lion will have a little cub instead.

Interesting Pic of the Day™: Are Dire Wolves Cooler Than You?
Short answer: yes. Dire Wolves lived during the Quaternary Glaciation, also known as the "Ice Age" - how cool is that? You want to know what's slightly less cool? You're, technically, sort-of living in the same period since the Quaternary Glaciation hasn't really ended yet (technically, we're in an interglacial period, which marked the beginning of the Holocene epoch - which, coincidentally, is my favorite epoch). How's that for your global warming? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quaternary_glaciation

Interesting Pic of the Day™: Reading is Good for You, Most Likely
Here's the proof: a picture of me reading a book about dogs or something.
Or is that a magazine? Ahh, it doesn't matter, I'm reading, right? Reading is good for you. I should've worn my glasses so I'd look like I'm hard-core reading, but on second thought, I'm probably just looking at the photos..
Ok, I've read enough. I'm going to play some videogames now!

Game Pic of the Day™: There's a Dragon on my 360 Controller!
Ahh yes, the price. The best part, it came with a matching black and white headset and all for $39.99. That's the price at some places for the plain old controller without cool art and without a matching headphone. Schweet!
