Food Pic of the Day™: Where's the Turtle, Turtle Cheesecake?

Caramel, chocolate, nuts, and cheesecake - no turtle. But why is it called "Turtle" cheesecake? Apparently, this dessert is named after the popular Turtle chocolate candies, since they have similar ingredients and taste. The turtle candy has no turtle in it either, but are shaped like little chocolate turtles.

Thank goodness the Turtle candies weren't shaped like little armadillos. Or jellyfish. Or..
